FMP Diary

Today, I need to write my mission statement and continue working on my online shop to make it professional and upbeat as much as I can. I will just need my wix site to complete this and hopefully by the end of the day it will be completed. I may need some help from my tutor to start of the mission statement and give me more ideas of what I need to include. Once I have achieved this, I will start thinking about my advert. ... Today, I finished my mission statement and written other information for the home page to give an understanding on what we are all about. However, I didn't finish the whole online shop and didn't get chance to start my video, but to move forward my plan is to complete the shop tomorrow and go on from there. 

Yesterday, I continued with my online shop and started to think what I need to do for the front page etc. I thought of making a mission statement to tell customers what my plan is to make it an ethical brand and how it is good for the community. I only needed my wix site to finish this because that's what I made my online shop on. I asked my tutor for ideas that I can do to make my brand better and different than the others. I didn't get chance to fully start the things that I planned because I was editing my Photoshoot images. I think overall, I quite up to date with my work, but I need to continue to crack on with it so I finish on time.

So on the 24th, I went down to the NQ studio in Manchester with a tutor to photograph what the hair and beauty were doing for their course and help them create a portfolio for them. Overall, it took 4 hours for the students to get their models ready and for me to photoshoot it all. To be honest, I enjoyed doing it because I've developed further skills with talking to clients about what they want and to capture images that I think would look great for their portfolio, but also mine. I'm glad I have had further work experience, because it's helped me develop more and it will help me get a job in the work in the real world.

Today, I will start my shoe mock up designs and see how far and how many I will make. I have thought of making 4/6 so I have a wide range of designs for my brand. To do this, I need Photoshop, a mock up template of shoes and my wix site, so later I can add them to. I will not need any help, but if I finish the shoes, I will need to make the website more approachable and user friendly. ... Today, I have finished my shoe designs, but I haven't adjusted my website layout. Next lesson, my plan is to do that and see if I can add any more mock ups for the brand. I hope to keep up to date with my project so I don't fall behind and miss things that I think are necessary. 

Today, I will continue with my T-shirt mock ups and hopefully add them to my online shop. All I need is Photoshop, my t-shirt mock up template from mock up world, and my wix site and to complete this, I will not need any help. If I have finished, I hope to continue with my mock ups, but start creating shoes for the brand.  ... Overall, I have finished my t-shirt designs, but I didn't get chance to start the show mock ups. I added the t-shirts to my site to made sure they are layered out how I wanted them to be. I think that I doing alright with my time, but if I think I'm not at some point, I will be doing more at home. 

Today, I will continue with my mock ups and create some t-shirt designs,which I can add to my online site when finished. All I need is a mock up template, Photoshop and some of my designs that I have created. I will not need any help, but if I finish everything today, I hope to mock up some shoe designs for the shop as well. ... Today, I have made some mock ups of t-shirt designs, but what I have made is not how much I wanted. So next lesson,  I will continue with the mock up designs and see how far I get upto and also see if I'm on track as there isn't much time.

Today, my target is to finish off my experiments and my mock ups and hopefully put them onto my online shop. I will need my primary imagery, wix, Illustrator and Photoshop and I will not need any help just yet, but I may need it for the future. Also, I will be doing some traditional work and I may experiment with it as well. When achieved this, I hope to add the mock ups to my site and start finishing the online shop off so I can move on. The plan is by the end of this week, I would like to finish my shop, finish my annotation and start thinking of ad ideas and music for it. ... Today, I finished the experiments; I didn't really enjoy doing the Jean Jullien experiments because it was boring to do and took a lot of time to just create 2 designs. I am disappointed with the outcomes, but at least I've tried something new. I've also done some more mock ups and all together, I've done jumpers and hoodies.

For the past week, I have been taking images of clothing mock ups that I can use and also images that I can use for my Jean Jullien experiments. For the experimentation, I would like to create illustration of popular sayings like " Two peas in a pod". The clothing images will show further primary images, but it helps me further as I can't find some mock ups that I need. Today, I will be starting some Jean Jullien experiments and start my mock ups to keep me up to date with my project. To do this, I will need Photoshop/Illustrator to illustrate some experiments and designs. I will not need any help, but hopefully I will get them finished so I can be on track. If I finish and have nothing to do, then I will continue with the online shop design and see how far I get upto. ... Today, I didn't have time to finish my experimentation for jean jullien, but I did create some mock ups for my website. I hope to finish my experiments soon so I can finish the website an...

Today, my target is to design some label and packaging mock ups. I know this isn't one of my main priorities, but I would like to make my brand realistic and presentable as much as I can. To complete this, I would need PSD mock ups and Photoshop to design them and as it's the holidays I don't need help, but if I do, I could always email my tutor for help. Once I have achieved this, I will start taking some primary imagery for my Jean Jullien experiment and start experimenting once again. If I finish that as well, I may think to start mocking up clothing ideas for my online shop and start continuing to produce the shop. ... Overall, I have finished my label and packaging designs, but have only taken a few images in the time that I finished the mock ups. I still need to annotate the work, but I want to take the Primary imagery first and go on from there.
